This article will cover the basics on how to add a domain name and get it out to the world as quickly as possible.

There are 3 short steps

1. In order to show your domain name out to the world, you will need to setup the name servers. What you need to do is to first register the domain name with a domain name registrar like godaddy.com. Then once the domain is registered or already registered, you need to contact your domain registrar to register the name servers with the IP provided or you can do this yourself by find a place in your domain registrar where you can register your Name Servers such as "NS.yourdomain.com" and "NS2.yourdomain.com". If you don't know, please contact your domain registrar for assistance on registering the name server with your IP.

2. Once you have completed step 1, log in to your LxAdmin -> DNS Template -> Add DNS Template. Give it a whatever name, it does not matter, then choose the IP on the list for DNS services. In the "Primary DNS", you should enter the DNS name server you registered in step 1 such as "NS1.yourdomain.com". Only one name server is required. If you need to use "Secondary DNS", you will need to purchase an addtional IP from us in the order form on "VPS Extra" menu.

3. Once step 1 has propagated and step 2 is completed, then you can add a domain name and it now should be seen on the world wide web as http://www.YourDomain.com.
